Broken splines on bull shaft 400

Pulled the shaft out (bad bearing)two of the splines had about half the meat broken off.The teeth are in good shape. The mating splines are okay. Is this power for the PTO? There is a good spline in between the two broken ones. I plan on reinstalling since the breaks look old .Feedback anyone?
