The only gaskests I usually buy are head and manifold gaskets. Everything else I cut myself using a small ball peen hammer and whatever gasket material is needed. I spent 3 years as a heavy equipment mechanic in the US Army Corps of Engineers, in Vietnam in '69 and '70, and our unit over there stocked no new gaskets at all, we had to make everything. It worked for me then and it still does, especially if I'm 20 miles from a dealer.
