What is your best riggin to get home????

Would be interesting to hear of your best attempts to get it to the house so you don't have to walk???????/ Here is one of mine,, I left Edwards Mo. in a 41 plymouth going to Kansas City, got to Garden City Mo and the fuel pump went out,, on a Sunday nite, [ 1972-73] dug in the trunk found a piece of heater hose ,, wraped a rag around it to seal between the hose and the tank neck, and blew in it to Merriam Kansas,[70-80 miles] and this is before Gator-aid........ Comeon people I know we all have our stories,, submit a have to case....
