I understand your position but there are many people on this board who are not in the market to purchase new and won't. This is one of the reasons why we tinker with 50-60 year old machines.
Some, such as my self, have an inventory of unused parts or access to cheap used components. It's possible that someone might like the challenge of assembling their own system.
I made an hydrostatic steering system last year for my W400. I have less than $250 in it. Mostly a few hoses, fittings, and a double ended cylinder from the Surplus Center. The cylinder was selected because it was new (and hassle-free) and cheap at around $100. The installation looks like something IH could have built although the components are not contemporary with the age of the tractor.
Just wanted to see the level of craftsmanship that Roland sells as well as help others ponder their own systems. Chances are that a few forum members might be so impressed that they get motivated to buy the kit. That would be good for Jackson Power Steering.
