sflem, $300 too much for plows "is nuts"? Then you say "they don't make ANY wear parts for them anymore so completely functional ones are hard to find." You're arguing with yourself. Any IH #8 Little Genius trailer plow that is complete and with moldboards showing normal, not excessive, wear and is for sale I will pay up to $250 any day of the week; then, turn around and sell it to someone on a list of guys I know who are looking for them...and I'll make a little money every time. "Nonfunctional" ones can be bought cheaply for "parts plows" and then recycle the rest of it. Five yrs ago I paid $375 for a #8 2-16" that was complete and in excellent shape, nothing wrong with it at all. Plowed in light soil to shine up the moldboards. I now pull it in "plow days" and it's now worth every cent I paid. I just bought a 1-16" #8 for $200 and will enjoy that baby and someday sell it for a nice profit. By the way, I'll be showing that 2-16" at the RPRU in 11 days. It's a "people magnet". Someone brought it up on the "Implement forum" a couple weeks ago. LA in WI
