I'm helping a friend with his recently acquired SW-6 TA. He does not have an owners manual. In order for him to shift his tractor out of a gear he has to pull the TA lever back. I have a 460U that I have a manual for and have successfully adjusted the TA per the manual...would it be exactly the same for his W-6? I have removed the TA rod to try to break the threads loose on the adjust ment yoke. I have used lubes and heat but to no avail. Another problem is is that it appears I will run out of adjustment threads if I do et it loose, will a clutch adjustment end up giving me more adjustment threads? Anyone know where I can get a TA rod from? Anyone have adjustment instructions for this TA they are willing to explain? Not sure when a manual will arrive.
