To add 1/8" of bore, the sleeves are thinner therefore no block machining should be needed. The outside diameter of the new sleeves will be the same as your old ones. Take the old sleeves out and measure the inside diameter of the block at the bottom of the sleeve where the "O" Ring seal is. There was more than one diameter used there, depending on the vintage of the block. Once you know what you have, you can get exactly the sleeves you need.

There shouldn't be any interference issues going to high compression pistons unless someone has shaved a lot off the head previously. I had that problem on one head and solved it with a just a little bit of machining on the head. Turned out to be not a real big problem.
