I have never had a problem getting my M started(other than winter). I was using it a couple of times last week. I noticed a spit and sputter every so often so I decided to remove the bowl and clean it out. I always find debris in there. Anyway, I mistakenly removed the front set screw off the carb. I got the tractor going again and dialed the screw back in until the tractor ran good again. Then I parked it.
Now I go to start it and it won't pop off. I pulled the plugs and they were a little black maybe form having the screw set a little too rich. Any way, I don't know what to try as far as if something in the carb is wrong or who knows what.
I am getting new plugs and a carb kit but none of the jets in the carb were plugged from what I could see( i am an amateur).
Does anybody have suggestions? I really don't want to burn up my starter trying to crank this thing over and over. Prior to this problem I could even hand crank this about 3 times and get it started. Very frustrating and confusing. THanks to anyone who is kind enough to offer suggestions.
