I want to thank all for the information that you supplied. The one that I have has the linkage to the front and the wishbone under the frame. The drag link has been broken and welded (prior to my owning the tractor) and I am searching for one to replace it. My confusion comes from the fact that the parts manual shows the spindle housings to be at an angle from the axle and mine are straight up and down.
Will post pics of the front axle and the rest of the Super M in a few days after I get back to the farm this weekend. Have restored the old girl 2 years ago and I know its a little large for the job, but about all it is used for is to rake hay. My dad has a 706 to pull the baler, and my brother has a green machine that we use to mow with, also an old green sickle mower. Brother and I kid each other about our tractors, he is just as proud of his as I am of mine (brotherly love and competition, which my dad really gets a kick out of).
Thanks again for all the replies and will be posting again in a few days.
