Best and easiest is to use a stock setup from either a 300F or 350F then all the pipe and valving will be perfect. Many should be available in a salvage yard. The term pump might be incorrect in your post. The steering is powered by the live pump and a priority/diverter valve. The device in the steering column is a torque motor. Hydrostatic PS does have a manual pump in the steering column to make it turn, but there is no mechanical shaft to the front, and it was not used on 300/350 that I know of. JimN
