My injectors are held in with two 3/8" bolts with an o-ring dust shield. Three of them pulled out easily. One I had to use two end wrenches to pry on the ears. My injector man said they looked very good for the age. There is an aluminium gasket the injector seals against. He said they should be fine if undisturbed.
Now for the bad news. The parts for these old injectors are scarce, new or aftermarket. I found 1 supplier that had a kit, for $260. Even the injector man could not locate parts. He had some used parts and lapped them to repair my injector. Cost me about $125.
It was knocking like He!! with the leaking injector (combustion side). Now runs like a top. I am unclear about how yours is leaking... Around the nozzle body on top?
