Ijust bought a 706 diesel at an auction it seems to run real good has all kinds of power it was overhauled three years ago the farmer said i called the man who overhauled it and he said it was acompleat eng job 282 done wright 3200.00 worth with all new injectors . but it seems to have exsesive diesel knock and black smoke when its opened up is this normal for 282 to do this i suspect timeing it also has a new inj pump how do you check the timeing can you tell me what you think thanks
