A friend of mine sold one last year on e-bay for $6,500. Tractor was very, very rough and really cobbled up. Had a homemade 3pt hitch, 2 prince hyd valves on the lightbar, M seat suspension & battery mounted on the side of the tractor in an angle iron box. wfe from a combine rigged up with powersteering. Manifold was burnt thru & injector pump leaked around the throttle shft bad, tires were bad, sheet metal was banged up with no paint but had green mold growing on it.
I could have bought the tractor for less than 1/2 that price but turnd it down as I thought it was too big of an undertaking. Kind of wish now I would have bought the thing. Guy that bought it was tickled to death
I had another friend buy a "1 owner" straight metal, with decent original pain& tires, ran good, gave $7,500 for it. IMO he got a good buy. I have seen show quality restored ones bring $15,000 & up.
