The gasoline manifold did not need the heat valve in it, therefore it was simplified for the gasoline engine. The original one was for distillate/kerosene, and the heat valve caused the engine to warm up faster. It was produced through the 450. Due to the slow warmup of the gas 6 cylinder 221/263 used in the later 460/560 these manifolds also have a heat valve. I doubt if there was a huge difference in performance between the 2 manifolds in the H/M--350/450, although the gas one probably flows better.
