If its cracked or the curved peice iscracked in just the right place(s), it could look like the oil is leaking around the shifter. Im just curious as to how you can see it coming from the shifter with all sheet metal on it?
I have removed the sheet metal and belt guard. The oil is definnately coming out the shift lever cover.
I have wiped it clean several times.
There is a plastic or hard rubber cap, similar to 1/2 of a tennis ball, and it moves with th shift lever. This is all about 8 or 10 inches higher then the oil level.
