Look I have had this tractor for roughly ten years; I really like this tractor alot and I do not plan on getting rid of it. I use the tractor to cut grass it has a 62 inch woods cutting deck on it. Also to note I have had no problems cutting the grass before. The only problem I have had was with the pto not engaging. To solve this problem I have moved the pto guide back several times, each time I had to move the guide back further to get the pto to engage. Now to get the pto to engage I had to take the guide completely off and move the pto switch all the way back. The pto will engage, but anytime the pto gets under a load it kicks right out. I used this tractor to cut the grass two weeks ago when I was running it then the pto keep on kicking in and out but it was not that bad. But as I said now everytime I engage the pto as soon as I start to cut grass it disengages. I would really appreciate some help on this issue so I can try and figure out how to fix it my self. If I cant fix it myself I am going to take it to hoober and pay a couple thousand to get it fixed.
Also I believe I am not sure what year this tractor it is lat 50 early 60s I do believe.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
