Trying to get the old H ready for hay season. I don't have a bunch of history on this old girl, as I picked it up at an auction a couple years back and this is the first work I'm going to put in front of her. When I bought it had great tin-work, new paint and 4 brand new tires. However, here comes the question. I've noticed that there's a bunch of black splatters on the hood and around the muffler. She does smoke just a bit, but not blue smoke, kind of a dirty white/grayish smoke. Seems to hold pretty good oil pressure and i never need to add any oil. Is she running too rich? She starts up great and idles perfect....but I've noticed I never have to choke her to get her to run even if it's a cold engine and a cold day. Also, when I go from idle to open up full throttle, she wants to sputter just a bit, then it takes hold and runs great. Any help on adjusting the carb? Thanks
