With engine warmed up (cover grill with garbage bag, etc. to restrict air flow) run the engine at wide open throttle (WOT). Adjust the main mixture screw on bottom of carb out (rich) and in (lean) then find the happy medium where the engine runs at it's fastest RPM. Continue turning the high speed screw out 1/2 turn for a bit more richness for power. (If plowing, etc. may need a bit more fuel). Idle the engine down and adjust the idle AIR screw (in is rich-out is lean) for best idle speed and give a bit more richness so the engine doesn't cough upon accelleration. Remember, there is no accellerator pump so "snapping" the throttle open may cause it to stumble. This is not a truck at a stop sign trying to take off quickly. Reset idle RPM's. Now repeat the process to assure that all is well.
