You seem knowledgable on Farmall H bull gear removal. I need help. THe bearing behind the break seal is out leaking on the brake band. While fixing I noticed the bearing was shot just behind it - the bull pinion bearing? So I took the rear wheel off and put a block between the left and right bull gear bolts so when I loosen it it also slides (forces) it off the axel. Well it slid off about 1/4 so far and now I can feel pressure building on my wrench and the axel isnt moving out of the gear. I can apply more pressure but I wonder if there is something I need to consider before turing harder? Thanks
Kelly
Did you take the outer axle seal retainer off the axle housing?
