By shot do you mean they won't hold air at all and the rims are rusted through or broken? A worn out tire is still a good tire on one of these old girls if it still keeps the inner tube inside. Same goes for the rim. How much is the asking price for the tractor? Unless you are going to bring it back to better than new condition I doubt that new tires or rims are worth it unless that's the only way out. I doubt we'd throw out our 70 year old mother just because she needed better shoes though, would we? Try to find auctions for tire/rim combos. Olds advice is pretty much the range to expect and I'm much closer to you being in Iowa. Check with the tire dealers that do service calls for ag equipment they might have some good used rubber out back in the scrap pile or they might keep you in mind ( doubtful ) when on service calls and they run across some behind a farmers shed. Rims can sometimes be fixed and old rubber is still usable if it doesn't literally crumble to the touch. Just keep an eye out for a better set. JMHO ...Randy
