Assuming you are talking about the precleaner or dommed screen that fits on the top of the intake tube above the hood, behind the muffler. Therenarentwo types. one is a simple dome with no holes in it (as supplied) and a mesh screen in a dome shape. below that surrounding the mounting tube. This style has no attaching bolts or clamps, it just slides on with a friction fit. They do not come off unless pulled on firmly. The other is an optional type with a glass jar attached to collect insects and larger trash by modest cyclonic seperation with directed intake louvers, and the jar to collect debris. It is attached with a clamp and pinch bolt. JimN
