Very nice H you got there. I love the H tractors. I'm 15 and me and my Dad love to fix up old tractors together. I finished restoring my 1943 Farmall H in September 2007. My 1943 H used to be my Grandpa's before he died in 1998, so my H is very special to me. My Dad and I got a 1944 Farmall H with wide front end up and running a few months back too, it is my Dad's H. We took both my Dad's H and mine to Field Days tractor show in Park Rapids, MN on August 2nd and 3rd, 2008, the first show we brought our own tarctors to. Now we are working on my Dad's 1946 Farmall H, it is the rusty one in my pictures. It still needs the engine rebuilt. I recently got all the pistons out, they were stuck. Tractors we have are 1933 F-12, 1936 F-12, 2 1938 F20's, 1943 H, 1944 H, 1946 H, 1954 SMTA, 1956 300, 1941 JD B, 1944 JD B, 1943 JD A, 1949 JD A. I love the Farmall H tractors. Yours looks great! I see yours has fenders too, I'd like a set of fenders someday for mine.

Have fun with your H!!

Andy

Today's Featured Article - Measuring with Calipers - by Staff. The legs of inside calipers are curved outward at the extremities to facilitate measuring small holes, while outside caliper legs have a large curve inward to increase their capacity for large work. Firm-joint calipers are adjusted approximately by the hands and then set to the feel of the work by tapping them on a metal surface. It is a common practice when opening calipers by this means to tap the top of the joint. It is better, if possible, to tap the inside of the legs, as repeated blo ... [Read Article]
