I have a 3000 loader on a 2606. It is a heavy duty loader. According to the manual it has a break out capacity of 4850 lbs and a full height lift at 2000 psi of 3000 lbs. I have no problem with big bales but I got backhoe on the back for a counter weight.
Requires a 17 gpm hyd pump.
Manual talks about installing on IH 340, 460, 504, 606, 2504, and 2606 tractors. Each has a few different ways to mount the brackets, etc. The IH 340, 504, & 2504 mount one way and the IH 460, 606, & 2606 mount a little different.
Does your farmall 460 have the trike front tires? It may be too much loader for a trike but someone else may know better. You would need some heavy rear weight to use this to max capacity though. You would also have to redo the hydraulics to hook up the valves, etc.
