Thanks for the replies, I'm using a 3 pt 7ft single auger snow blower and yes someone put on it the oversized 14.9x28 tires. I would like to cut the rev. speed in half to make the job be easier on shear bolts and have some fenesse. It does go (approximately) the same speed in rev as the 1-4 in fwd (low). It sounds as though it will cost me as much as it is worth to modify it. The tractor only has 1400 hrs and a heated sims cab and I thought that if I could fix this it would be perfect. Thanks
