touch control repair manual

Looks like I need to rebuild my touch control unit (see posting "what a mess" Does the tractor service manual for 140 or Super "A', 100, 130 show how to tear down the touch control unit? The pump seem to overheat and blew a gasket on the touch control. It has been suggested that a valve may be stuck closed due to trash or wear of the o rings. I can get a repair kit for about $60, questions as to can I do this with standard hand tools and how to guides? Any experiences or reccommended sorces? thanx
