I have built several pole barns. The last two I have built I used regular siding and put shingles on the roof. They look like a regular buildings then. It is a little more expensive than with sheet metal skin, but I think they look a lot better. One is 28' x 40' (looks like a barn) and the other is 24' x 32' (looks like the old chicken coops with windows up in a vertical section on the roof). Roger
