And if your seals have been in there long enough to be the original style the new ones will be different. They're about half as thick. A lot of people get two and put them both on; I did. Some other people say that it's a waste because the outside one won't get any lube and will quickly wear out. My thinking was that if the inside one didn't seal well the outside would give me another chance not to have to do it over again. And compared to doing it over again they're cheap.
