Hey guys.......I posted a ? about the governor on a 140 Farmall on 10/9/06. I am helping a friend with his. We order a T&I shop manual (IH-201) and on page 21, the thrust pin appears to be inserted into the housing. The reason I say this is there is only one part shown here. When we took it apart, the pin appeared to be broken. I just got a new one delivered here at work and now I am wondering if it is supposed to be inserted into the housing or just rides againist another pin that is inserted into the housing. We did find a broken surge spring and decided to replace the governor spring and thrust spring while we had it apart. If someone can help us with thrust pin queston, we would be most appreciative.........thanks.........E. Ray
