Orings on a IH 300u

Hey guys, Today I went to plumb in my new dump cylinders on my 300u. I had to remove the valves to get access to the fittings under them. The orings in the valves (the 3 on each "plane" that allows for valve stacking) are kinda flat. I cleaned them up, petro jellied them and re-assmbled. Does anyone know what size orings these are? I'm assuming they arent supposed to be flat. Ideally next spring when I plumb in my selector valves and fasthitch cylinder, I'd like to replace them. If I still had it part, I could match them up, but I wanted to get it re-assembled today. Also, The valve for the single acting lift rams has nothing but a valve. The valve for the fasthitch (and now the dump cylinders) has a device between the resevoir and the valve. Is this a regulator or a check valve? There is also another device bolted to the bottom of the valve and the hoses run off of it for the cylinder. Just wondered why the other valve doesnt have these? Also, I swapped the whole assemblies around on the resevoir. I'm assuming that it doesnt matter, I did those for hose length and handle location. Please let me know if the rear/front valve mounts on the resevoir do the same thing, or if I'm in for some trouble. Also, I have been repeatedly told that any standard oring (like for faucets/water) are suitable for hydraulics. I dont believe this, as in my R/C hobby they only use silicone oil in the difs (oring sealed), because petroleum based lubricants (oil) causes the orings to swell and deteriorate. Is there any truth to this? Last time I needed orings, I went to the deere dealer and spent about 4x as much on them... Thanks Guys!
