I know someone's going to get on my case for saying this, but it needs to be said, and it is being said with all due respect and sincerity: Mike, you really need to sit down and build up some "book smarts" about the basic components of your new tractor before you start tearing into it, or even trying to get it to run for more than 5 minutes at a time. You need to be able to locate and identify simple things like the carburetor, sediment bowl, air cleaner, distributor, distributor cap, points, coil, condensor. Otherwise, you're liable to get yourself into trouble... "Say, what's this electrical thingy?" ZZZZZZZZOT! "Do I smell gas?" ZZOTT! PISHHHH! WWWWWOOOOOFFFFF! if you get my drift :( When you have to ask what a coil is and where it is on the tractor, that's scary to me. It means you're "playing with magic you don't understand," and I really, sincerely do not want to see you or the tractor get hurt.
