Ive used both and I found the IH37 could take a bigger load than the 14T. It has a narrower pickup so you have to chase the windrow a bit but it did a real nice bale. IH balers seem to run at a higher pace at the same rpm than the JD but I think that is just the design. If its in good shape it shoucl last you for a long time with just 5Ac.
