If you are using 10-30 oil, that may contribute to the problem. I would use 15W 40 Oil to see if it makes a substantial change. Straight wt oil is also good if you change it out in the winter so it will start. If the engine is sound, and makes no "extra" noise, I would try the oil change first. Many modern engines that are not worn out idle at less than 10 PSI at Idle with 10-30 oil, (or 5-30) in the newer cars. It does not hurt a bit. Good luck, JimN
