Be careful when you say "slow down the tractor." The TA will NOT slow the tractor down if you're going downhill!!!!! If you pull the TA, you're going for a ride, and you WILL need a new TA afterwards, if not an entire new tractor. Pull the TA when you're running out of power. Idle back when you need to slow down, or shift to a lower gear. NOTE: This only applies to mechanical TAs on SMTA, 300, 400, 350, 450, 340, 460, 560, 504, 606 544, 656 etc..
