Serials are to the left under Research and Info. AV serial numbers are mixed with the A, there is no separate list for the AV. Since your AV was assembled in 1947 it was either built at the Chicago Tractor Works or the new Farmall plant at Louisville Kentucky. If it came from Louisville it was one of the first 1100 or so tractors built there. Not sure because I don't know if IH continued to produce the smaller tractors at Chicago for a while after the Louisville plant opened, or if they closed it as soon as it opened.
