Thanks Mark and everybody else that has responded to this question. From what you guys have given me, I think that I have the C-21 model. It has one spring (about 24" long) on the shaft that pulls up the sickle. It does not appear to have the pivot arm like the C-28 that lifts the cutter bar when you raise the hitch. It also has a piece of tubing about 2" long with an outside diameter of 1.25" and an inside diameter of 0.75" that is welded to the top of the angle bracket on the right hitch frame that attaches to the breakaway clamp. This tube is parallel to the axel on the tractor, so I assume that this was the clip for the axel clamp that would brace the mower to the right axel. I don't have any of these parts with the mower. So another reason I need the operating manual. Any other information on this identification is appreciated.
