Hi Jim, The starter does have a centering ring,which in order to move it out would have to ground some on the outward side. I like your idea about the bolts. Could use grade 8 bolts an grind the shank down on the side that needs to move. Wouldn't have to alter the starter much to try it. Thanks YC
