I would probably buy the rebuild head, we run into the same problem on our 650D and ended up spending money checking the old head and still ended up buying a rebuild. If you would really like to save the original head there is a place in Navada Iowa that is real good with reparing heads if you want the number I can post it for you. you will likely have less money in buying the rebuild thou. goodluck them engines are awseme.
