My 300u sat a couple weeks and I started it up today. In the past, the oil pressure jumped to 75 lbs and stayed there. Today, it did not move off 0. Our temperature today is about 5 degrees above, and over the past 2 weeks our temperature has been in the 5-30 degree above range. Previously I figured the gauge was goofy when it jumped to 75 lbs, and I am inclined to think it is the gauge now also. I did run the tractor for 10 mins or so today and stayed near it, but the engine made no unusual sounds or noise. Since I must work on the tractor outside, I am thinking or going ahead and using the tractor this way for throwing snow and check the gauge out in spring. What do you experienced fellows think?
