Had a real nice long conversation with a feller from PA this morning. He tells me that I'm giving up too darned easy, that it is just a piece of iron and that there is a reason for this rascal's erratic behavior. He says that the major components have to be okay and that if I cannot find anything wrong with any of the valves that the pump servo has got to be leaking internally and causing it to "de-stroke" itself. So, guess I'll screw my courage up, sweep the garage floor and drop that oil out of her for the fourth time. :>) He's right; there just has to be a reason here somewhere. :>) Allan
