Although red was standard, IHC tractors could be any color. Safety orange was very common for industrial tractors. Some ordered industrial yellow, but in that era, orange was more popular than yellow. Your choice, but if it was mine I would probably paint it safety orange. Any of the three would be period correct. The transmission brake is connected to the clutch linkage to stop the main shaft from turning so you could engage the gears without grinding. The optional headlights were located low on the sides of the front grill cowl on W-4, 6, and 9 tractors. Harold H
