For all the 300/330/350Us still alive and working after 50 years of loader use,I recommend keeping the manual steering box full of lube,make sure the tie rod ends are not worn severely,keep the front tires pumped up to high blue heaven,use ribbed tires and not deeply treaded like truck tires (reduced friction when turning corners),and adjust the toe in/out (and also make sure the spindles are not bend upward).All of these contribute to heavy steering.Also,do not overload any bucket,use as small a bucket as you can,and do any steering while tractor is moving. Utes may not be ideally suited to loader use,but nonetheless they have lived 50 years in use......thats not so bad for a "mistake" on IHs part.
