Went and put a add in Trader paper last week for my 706 gas tractor for $3000.00. Had several come look. But whats was really funny every time the guys came to look and we went to the shop rolled the doors open, they looked at my 59 Farmall 340 gas that is torn down and waiting on engine overhaul, it has new tires, new paint, wide front, fast hitch, good sheet metal. Every one wanted it they offered to give big money, one guy even offered me $3000.00 as is, same as 706. But I told them all it was not for sale. Had 3 call me back later and raise thier offer. Had a guy wanting to trade a fair 560 for the 706, but when he seen the 340 he offered the 560 and loot for the 340...But I got plans to use to use the 340 to mow hay and spray and cultivate I don't know whats so great about a 340 Farmall but It sure got noticed!!! and created a lot of talk, and money waving.
