The B250 is a great little tractor. Made here in the UK starting with serial number 501 (i have no 549) I suspect you have a worn hyd pump as your loader works better when the oil is culd and thicker if it was a blocked filter the loader would work better when the oil was warm and could pass through the filter. Remove and clean the wires between the glow plugs to make them work better also the wire between no 4 plug and earth bolt on the timing case. GOOD LUCK MJ
