Sounds like a fuel problem. Is your intake manifold tight? Has your carburetor been cleaned? Try running the engine with the choke on and see if the engine runs better. If it does your carburetor is too lean. If your carburetor has the main jet adjusting screw on the carburetor bowl, you may need to open it CCW and see if that helps. I wouldn't use too much of that starting fluid on the engine. Hal
