If the carb has a drain plug at the bottom of the bowl remove it. (If no drain plug disconnect the fuel line where it goes into the carburetor.) You should get a SOLID stream of gasoline about the diameter of a pencil.

A weak or dribbling stream says there’s a restriction in the fuel supply. Look for a plugged sediment bulb, trash in bottom of the tank blocking the fuel outlet, a pinched or kinked fuel line, etc.

If the fuel supply flows OK then the problem’s with the carb. Might be as simple as the power screw is too set lean (open it up a half turn at a time and test).

Could also be the bowl fuel inlet screen (if it has one) is plugged or there’s a blockage in an internal orifice or passage. Could also possibly be the float level set too low. You’ll need to go inside the carb to find and fix.
