This past weekend we attempted to start my 560 for the first time since I rebuilt the engine. The engine did run for about ten minutes, but then died. The engine runs better when the choke is fully on, which I think is totally backwards that the way it should be. The problem that I am having now is when I try to pull start it, it blows raw gas out the exhaust with the choke off. Is there something that I have forgot to do before I try starting the engine. We set the valves, and the timing when it was running, so it should fire off theoretically. I also put a 40,000 volt coil on it thinking the old coil might not ignite it. If anybody has had this problem before, any input would be appreciated! Thanks!!
