boy i guess you are right what was i thinking?? i dont know what i was thinking but i do know that the tach i have reads double the engine speed becouse i have tried it on a couple of my tractors plus my pickup that have tachs on them and its very acurate not sure what is turning to make it read double but i know what ever its reading divided by 2 is the engine rpm for instance on my ford 5000 with the throtle set to the tractors tach at 750 my mechanicle tach reads 1500 and when i set the tractor to 1900 for pto speed the mechanicle tach reads 3800 my brain fart from this morning could be do to lack of diesel fumes ill have to go fire up my 350 diesel and go for a ride
