I have a foot brake setup on my 34 f-12. I think you could make one up okay. I don't really care for them very much. They sit rather close to the seat which makes it hard for me to work it comfortably. I slipped one time getting on my machine in a light rain and really hurt my shin on it. I can scan in some pics of mine if you want? Just email me and I can also give you the name of where I got mine. just a side note, I think you'd be happier spending the $400 on an overdrive, I love mine.
