Hi, the 444 have a suction filter in the hydrolic reservoir. The dual pump run the lift system(the large one) the other, run the steering system. A spin-on filter work for a low pressure return line. On high pressure line, a cartridge filter is the best. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
