The PTO unit will bolt right in. trulyred's got it right on the input shaft/pump. The linkage is the thing that I was questioning, too. I seem to remember that on 06-66 tractors, the linkage pulls the PTO valve up to engage the PTO, while on an 86, the linkage pushes the valve down to engage the PTO. This change could have come in to effect sometime during the 86 series, so just keep it in mind.
